The hair arrives at the Great Lengths factory in Rome in its virgin state. There it undergoes a special process.
The hair undergoes a delicate process of de-pigmentation lasting 15-20 days. The black pigments are slowly lifted from inside the hair, NOT from the outside as it happens with ammonium derivatives which damage our outside cuticle. Basically, we don’t bleach our hair!
Great Lengths De-pigmentation:
The color molecules are actually removed rather than bleached… Our system of depigmentation does not damage the hair and permits the removal of the black pigment without altering the quality of the hair
Standard Decoloration:
The color pigments are broken down but they continue taking up space inside the hair. The bleaching agent also damages the hair, leaving it opaque and fragile.

The Hair Extension Process

Hair Extensions are applied in neat rows by selecting very fine triangular sections of your hair.

Keratin is pre-applied to the trimmed end of each Hair Extension. The Hair Extension is then fused with your natural Hair creating a natural bond.
